Breaking Ground for the Future of Learning in Maichingen

July marked the official groundbreaking of a major educational project in Maichingen: the expansion of the elementary school at Johannes-Widmann Community School. What has so far been the result of careful planning and development is now becoming a visible reality, making this a significant milestone for everyone involved.

Alongside speeches by Mayor Markus Kleemann, representatives of the City of Sindelfingen, the school, and the architectural team, performances by two school classes created a warm and vibrant atmosphere. Their contributions highlighted the true purpose of the project: creating an inspiring learning environment for the students of today and tomorrow.

Modern Learning Spaces for Around 560 Students

The project includes the construction of a new elementary school extension, followed by a comprehensive structural and energy-efficient refurbishment of the existing building. The aim is to provide a modern, accessible, and sustainable learning environment that meets the demands of future-focused education.

At BuP. Boll Beraten und Planen, we are proud to support this important educational project as the structural engineering partner for both the new building and the refurbishment of the existing facilities. Together with all project stakeholders, we are helping to create a school campus that will serve and inspire generations of students for years to come.
