BuP. at Stahlbau-Kalender-Tag 2026: Knowledge that moves structures forward

At the 2026 Stahlbau-Kalender-Tag hosted by the University of Stuttgart in Fellbach, the focus was on current developments in steel construction, new standards, and direct professional exchange with industry experts. Representing BuP. Boll Beraten und Planen, Hinrich Münzner and Olaf Reiner attended the event to gain insights into the latest technical developments, practical applications, and current requirements in structural engineering.

New standards in focus

Key topics included the new generation of Eurocodes, the application of DIN EN 1993-1-1:2025-04, and complex engineering challenges related to slender structures. The presentations addressed practical issues in areas such as towers, masts, chimneys, silos, pressure pipelines, and bolted connections.

Impulses for daily project work

In a field defined by technical precision, high safety requirements, and continuous development, up-to-date knowledge is a decisive factor. Events such as Stahlbau-Kalender-Tag provide the ideal setting for this: concise expert presentations, well-founded discussions, and valuable impulses that flow directly into everyday project work.

For BuP. Boll Beraten und Planen, one thing is clear: those who want to plan for the future must stay at the cutting edge of their field. The visit to Fellbach was therefore not only a valuable professional development opportunity, but also a great chance to exchange ideas with experts from research, design, and practice.

We would like to thank the Institute of Structural Design at the University of Stuttgart for the successful event and are taking many new ideas and insights back into our projects.
